About us
Mis Anawim Mundi
We are a non-profit humanitarian association based in Barcelona, dedicated to being a bridge of solidarity for people, families, communities and dioceses facing vulnerability.
Our story
We were born in 2017 under the name «Puente Solidario» to respond to the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela. We then opened our horizons to all of humanity, responding to new needs arising in Morocco, Iran, Ukraine and Cuba. In 2022, faced with the need for a legal entity, we constituted ourselves as the Association «Mis Anawim Mundi». In truth, we were born from the heart of God. We are a miracle of the prayer of a great many people who have cried out to the Lord, begging for mercy in the face of humanitarian crisis, poverty, injustice and violence.
Mis Anawim Mundi was born from the conviction that every person deserves dignity, care and a helping hand in difficult times. Since our founding in 2022, we have worked to deliver humanitarian aid where it is needed most: locally, nationally and internationally.
Thanks to the support of Càritas Diocesana de Barcelona and many people acting in solidarity and donors, we have been able to collect, sort and distribute tonnes of aid over the years, responding both to everyday needs and to humanitarian emergencies.
The meaning of «Anawim»
«Anawim» is a word of Hebrew origin that refers to the poor and humble, those who place their trust and hope beyond their own strength. Our name, «Mis Anawim Mundi», expresses that commitment: to stand beside the most humble of the world, with respect and closeness.

We believe in God, in his love and in his infinite Mercy poured out on the cross of his Son Jesus. We believe in his living presence through his Spirit: in the Church, in the poor and in our souls. On the firm rock of this faith in God's love, we build our lives, projects and actions, with joyful trust and hope.
Mercy
With God's love in our hearts, we bow before all human suffering, to see in every face a brother and a sister, to reach out our hand and make their needs our own, healing wounds, washing feet, giving our lives out of love, with the love of Jesus, as simple channels of his Mercy.
How we work
We collect donations of materials and resources, sort them and deliver them to destinations with a concrete need, in coordination with trusted partner organisations. We also respond to social emergencies quickly and effectively.
